Over the last 30 years Chindex International has been a leading American supplier of capital medical equipment in China. Over the last 15 years FosunPharma has grown to be the largest private medical and pharmaceutical enterprise in China. Beginning in 2011, Chindex and FosunPharma have formed a strategic alliance in the medical device industry.

Distribution services in China are focused in core areas of Imaging, Women’s Health, Surgery, Dermatology, and Dental, with strategic expansion into new sectors planned in the near term.  CML currently provides exclusive distribution services to Siemens Healthcare for high-end color Doppler ultrasound equipment, Hologic for mammography systems, Naviscan high-resolution PET scanner for 3-D Molecular Breast Imaging, Vital Images for advanced visualization software, Intuitive Surgical for the daVinci family of robotic surgical systems, MAKO Surgical for its RIO® Robotic Interactive Arm Orthopedic System, Transonic Systems for surgical flowmeters, Candela and Cutera for aesthetic laser systems, PAX surgical beds and OR lights, and dental applicances, implants and accessories manufactured by BEGO, Vertex Dental, DMG, Hu-Friedy, and Ultradent.

CML has also pioneered the use of government-sponsored financing packages to make attractive financing packages available to cash-strapped hospitals throughout China. Over $40 million in medical equipment has been delivered to Chinese hospitals with the support of U.S. Government-backed loan programs, and CML's German subsidiary has won contracts for the supply of over €35 million of medical and laboratory equipment sold through German Government-sponsored programs.

Shanghai Blood Transfusion Technology Ltd., a CML company, is a transfusion-related supplies company specializing in technology development, production and distribution.  The products include everything from blood bags, blood transfusion equipment, and plasma collection devices, to white goods and virus inactivation equipment, and are sold in China and globally.

Huayin Medical Devices, a CML company, is the largest manufacturer and exporter of surgical blades and surgical sutures with needles (absorbable and non-absorbable) in China.
