As the exclusive representative for the Acuson (a Siemens company) brand of color doppler ultrasound scanners in mainland China since 1987 and Hong Kong since 1998, Chindex has held the leading market share in this high end market for many years. In 2001 Chindex became the exclusive distributor of the full Siemens family of color ultrasound products in both sales territories.

As the distributor for the clinical laboratory systems of Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics (a Johnson & Johnson company) and critical care laboratory products from Nova Biomedical, Chindex has established a quickly growing business in instrumentation and follow-on sales of proprietary consumable products. The logistics services provided by the Healthcare Products Distribution division of the company highlights the cross-departmental synergies of the Chindex approach.

The electrophysiology monitoring systems of Bard Labsystems and the specialized laser surgery systems of PLC Medical highlight the Chindex offerings in interventional cardiology instrumentation. This complements the distribution of consumable products to the cardiac cath labs by the Healthcare Products Distribution division.

Chindex is proud to distribute the radiological products of Hologic, a leading manufacturer of bone densitometry and mammography instrumentation. Chindex has been the dominant supplier of bone densitometers in China for many years. Mammography is an expanding new market in Chinese healthcare.

In partnership with the Steris Corporation, Chindex offers one of the world’s leading lines of central sterile supply and operating theater equipment. The Aerocom line of pneumatic tube systems is a world leader in these important hospital systems.
