Chindex Loan Programs

To address the long-term financing needs of its customers in the Chinese marketplace, Chindex is able to structure medical equipment purchases to take advantage of a variety of loan progams from the United States and Germany.

Chindex has been a leader in developing direct loan and loan guarantee programs in conjunction with the U.S. Government, as well as purely commercial loans, to extend financing to Chinese buyers.  To date, Chindex has provided over US$50 million in medical equipment to Chinese hospitals through one direct loan and two loan guarantees from the Export-Import Bank of the United States, as well as two commercial loan transactions.

Chindex China-Export GmbH, Chindex's German subsidiary, organizes participation in loan programs sponsored by the German Government.  The German development bank, KfW Entwicklungsbank, offers extremely attractive financing to Chinese hospitals for the purchase of primarily German medical equipment.  Chindex GmbH has won three contracts for the supply of KfW-financed medical equipment for a total of €10 million.
