International, Inc. (NASDAQ:CHDX), an independent American provider
of Western healthcare products and medical services in the People's
Republic, today announced the appointment of Douglas B.Grob and Holli
Harris to the Company's Board of Directors.
Mr. Grob
is currently an Assistant Professor, Department of Government and
Politics, University of Maryland, College Park. Mr. Grob has also
served as a Visiting Scholar at the School of Law of Beijing University
and as a Research Fellow at the Asia/Pacific Research Center of Stanford
University. Prior to his academic career, he served as Director of
Business Development for Chindex International, Inc. and as an Analyst
and Assistant Treasurer for Chase Manhattan Bank. He has an A.B. degree
from the University of Pennsylvania, two masters degrees, and a Ph.D.
in Political Science from Stanford University.
Ms. Harris
currently helps lead efforts to grow Seattle-based Corbis Corporation's
international revenues. She has served as a U.S. State Department
official at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, and, after that service, she
helped to structure oil and gas transactions for several companies
in Russia. She has since conducted business development in the biotech
and industrial design industries, and has also worked with Fortune
500 companies in developing cross-industry product ideas incorporating
emerging technologies. Ms. Harris holds a dual degree in Russian and
International Relations from the University of California - Davis
and an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan.
