Ms.
Lipson has over 25 years of experience in various aspects
of the medical industry including pharmaceuticals, capital
medical equipment and consumable products marketing and
distribution, and hospital management.
Since Ms. Lipson
co-founded Chindex in 1981, the company has expanded from
its core business of capital medical equipment sales and
marketing to medical consumables, healthcare related consumer
products and, most recently, healthcare delivery. Ms. Lipson
has been the creative force behind the Beijing United Family
Hospital and the United Family Hospitals concept, and has
been central to the implementation of the projects.
Ms. Lipson is
an expert in many aspects of health care in China and has
shared this expertise in many forums. Ms. Lipson has authored
articles and often speaks on issues related to the healthcare
industry in China. An active member of the business community
in Beijing for over 20 years, Ms. Lipson sits on the Board
of Directors of AMCHAM-China and on the Board of Directors
of U.S.-China Business Council, and Chairs the Board of
the United Foundation for Chinese Orphans. She holds an
MBA from Columbia University and a B.A. in History from
Brandeis University.
